What happens when Jean-Luc Godard is commissioned to make a film celebrating the Revolution? On stage, manifestos, hijacked rushes and bursts of music collide; History falters, the camera overflows, thought ignites. Sauve qui peut (la révolution) unfolds in four movements where cinema, theatre and music draw toward one another. A lively, biting, subtly insolent political cabaret, the performance awakens in the spectator an appetite for uprising.
